We Need a T-Shirt
. . . saying “We survived the Great Western Ice Crown” this weekend. My feet are beginning to thaw (I’ve been home for three hours now, after a six hour drive, so it’s about time). This really is going to be one of those “yeah, I was there, no really, it was really that cold” kinda events that everyone who actually went tells stories about. I’m kinda surprised we had as many entrants as we did – 23 – and as deep a list. It made it much easier to “run” the list, considering we only really had three rounds before the finals. They only real problem I had was that I couldn’t find a place to sit down where I could see the list and the heralds could find me to return the cards where I wasn’t getting snowed/sleeted on the whole time. The table in front of me had about half an inch of snow by the afternoon. Many were joking that Romanius and Deanna will become known as the Ice Crown after both their coronation and their crown being affected by such weather.
Glad it’s over – we’re on the downhill side of the reign now. The only big event left is Warlord and a month later, we’re done (thanks JP – and sorry!)!

If their stepping down is affected by ice, it’s a LOCK! LMAO
If their stepping down is affected by ice, then hell truly *will* have frozen over!!
I’m having visions of sno-cones for all at Stepping-Down, just to carry the theme… ^_^
Ok, so for those of us who are a bit “disconnected” who won?!
Duke Ulsted the Unsteady won for Ebergardis von Zell.
Sno-cones? Sweet! I want a grape one. I think, one day when we’re all sitting around a warm fire, we’ll all reflect upon this day on this day and shiver.
D’oh! We’ll reflect sans ‘on this day.’ We’ll still shiver, though.
Well the snow on the table gave me something to do art projects with LOL
I was thinking of making a Tshirt.
Still designing the Official Spring Crown Snowglobe
Would not be the first time snow cones were at an event *grin*
