Protected Postings
I can’t believe I only just figured out that you can “protect” postings so that only the people you designate can read your posting. One of the reasons I don’t write much is that I don’t care to publish some things widely, although I don’t mind some folks knowing. Of course, the problem with protected postings is that they don’t get included in the digest emails sent out to people, so the only way you can read them is if you either go to my actual weblog page or use the “protected posts” tab on your Subscription page. Since most people use the digest emails, that means not everyone you want to inform will read your posts. Oh well, at least I can vent in writing now.

I dislike the digest e-mails, I have to deal with enough stuff, thus I actually go to the site.
But then again I don’t post a lot either.
Technology:Good
Most people subscribe to digest…
so if you muck up and forget to initially protect your posting…
like I did the other day;) then you can get it protected before it gets spit out for digest;)
But… unless you pay for Xanga…
you have a limited number of people that you can put on protected…
so it’s a mixed bag…
Hooraaaaay! Maagie
I’d be delighted to hear you vent-any which way
Nice just to hear your voice
I knew one could. I just don’t know how. So I only post
things I don’t mind anybody reading. No venting for me.
